  • Treatment Process (Step-by-Step)

    Initial Consultation – 15 to 20 minutes

    • The practitioner evaluates your skin type (Fitzpatrick scale) and hair color, and reviews your medical history to confirm suitability.

    • A test patch may be performed to assess your skin’s reaction and determine safe, effective settings.

    • A personalized treatment plan is developed based on the area(s) to be treated and your hair growth cycle.

    Preparation – 5 to 10 minutes

    • The treatment area is cleansed to remove oil, lotion, or deodorant.

    • You should shave the area 12–24 hours before the session — avoid waxing or plucking.

    • Protective eyewear is provided for both you and the therapist.

    • A cooling gel is applied to the area to improve comfort and ensure even light distribution.

    V-IPL Hair Removal Treatment – 15 to 45 minutes

    • The practitioner glides the V-IPL handpiece over the skin, delivering broad-spectrum light pulses that are absorbed by melanin in the hair follicle.

    • This energy is converted into heat, which damages the follicle and inhibits future hair growth.

    • Small areas like the upper lip take around 5–10 minutes; larger areas like full legs or back can take 30–45 minutes.

    Post-Treatment Clean-Up – 5 minutes

    • The gel is removed, and a soothing cream or aloe vera may be applied.

    • SPF is applied to any sun-exposed areas.

    • Aftercare instructions are reviewed, including avoiding heat, sun, and active products for 24–48 hours.

  • Pre-Treatment Care

    To ensure a safe and effective hair removal session, please follow these guidelines:

    1. Avoid sun exposure for at least 2 weeks before treatment. Do not use tanning beds or apply self-tanning products.

    2. Shave the treatment area 12–24 hours before your appointment.
      Do not wax, pluck, or use depilatory creams for at least 3–4 weeks before treatment, as the hair follicle must be intact.

    3. Do not apply makeup, lotion, deodorant, or perfume on the treatment area on the day of the session.

    4. Discontinue use of active skincare products (e.g., retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid) in the treatment area for 3–5 days prior.

    5. Inform your therapist if you are taking any photosensitizing medications or have a history of light sensitivity.

    6. Stay well-hydrated and avoid caffeine and alcohol on the day of your treatment.

    Post-Treatment Care

    After your IPL hair removal session, please take the following steps to care for your skin and support the best results:

    1. Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 7–10 days. Always apply broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30+) to exposed areas.

    2. Do not wax, pluck, or thread the treated area between sessions. Shaving is allowed.

    3. Avoid hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, and intense exercise for 24–48 hours post-treatment.

    4. Do not use harsh skincare products (such as acids, scrubs, or retinol) on the treated area for 3–5 days.

    5. Avoid applying makeup or deodorant to the treated area for 24 hours (or until redness subsides).

    6. Mild redness or sensitivity is normal and usually resolves within a few hours to a day. Use a cold compress or gentle aloe vera gel if needed.

    7. Exfoliate the area gently after 3–5 days to help shed treated hair and prevent ingrown hairs.

      A series of 6–8 sessions is typically required, spaced 4–6 weeks apart, depending on the body area and hair growth cycle.

    • Visible Results:
