Skin Rejuvenation

Viora V-IPL is a non-invasive treatment that uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology to target pigmentation, vascular lesions, acne, and overall skin rejuvenation. The broad-spectrum light is absorbed by melanin, hemoglobin, and porphyrins, converting to heat that breaks down pigment, coagulates vessels, and reduces acne. It also stimulates collagen production for improved texture and tone. With Viora’s advanced PCR™ technology, treatments are customized for different skin types and concerns. Key benefits include reducing pigmentation, redness, acne, and signs of aging—with minimal discomfort, no downtime, and safe results across a wide range of skin tones.

  • Treatment Process (Step-by-Step)

    Initial Consultation – 15 to 20 minutes

    • Your skin type (Fitzpatrick scale), medical history, and treatment goals (e.g., pigmentation, redness, acne, or general rejuvenation) are assessed.

    • A test patch may be performed to ensure safe energy levels and skin compatibility.

    • A tailored treatment plan is created based on your needs and skin condition.

    Preparation – 5 to 10 minutes

    • The treatment area is cleansed thoroughly to remove any makeup, oils, or skincare products.

    • Protective goggles are provided to shield your eyes from light pulses.

    • A layer of cooling gel is applied to the skin to optimize light conduction and ensure comfort.

    V-IPL Treatment – 15 to 30 minutes

    • The therapist uses the V-IPL handpiece to deliver broad-spectrum light pulses to the targeted areas.

    • The light is absorbed by specific chromophores (melanin, hemoglobin, or porphyrins), depending on the indication, generating heat that breaks down pigmentation, coagulates capillaries, or reduces acne bacteria.

    • Each small area (e.g., cheeks, nose, or forehead) takes 5–10 minutes. A full-face treatment takes 15–20 minutes. Larger areas like the chest or back may require up to 30 minutes.

    Post-Treatment Finish – 5 minutes

    • The gel is removed and a soothing serum or hydrating moisturizer is applied.

    • Sunscreen (SPF 30+) is applied to protect treated skin if exposed to daylight.

    • Aftercare instructions are explained clearly to ensure safe healing and optimal results.

Total Session Time: 30–50 minutes, depending on the area and indication treated.

  • Pre-Treatment Care

To ensure optimal results and reduce the risk of side effects, please follow these guidelines before your treatment:

    1. Avoid sun exposure for at least 3–5 days before treatment. Do not use tanning beds or apply self-tanning products.

    2. Discontinue active skincare ingredients such as retinol, AHA/BHA, and vitamin C 2–3 days prior, unless advised otherwise.

    3. Keep the treatment area clean and free of makeup, lotions, or oils on the day of your appointment.

    4. Stay well hydrated — drink plenty of water before and after the session to support skin health and metabolism.

    5. Avoid blood-thinning medications or supplements (e.g. aspirin, fish oil, ibuprofen) for 24–48 hours before treatment, if medically appropriate.

    6. Notify your practitioner of any recent changes in health, medications, or skin conditions.

    Post-Treatment Care

To promote healing and enhance treatment outcomes, please follow the aftercare instructions below:

    1. Avoid sun exposure and always apply a high-SPF sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) daily for at least one week.

    2. Do not use hot showers, saunas, or steam rooms for 24–48 hours after treatment.

    3. Avoid using harsh or active skincare products (e.g., acids, retinoids, exfoliants) for 2–5 days unless advised.

    4. Do not pick, scratch, or exfoliate the treated area to prevent irritation or pigmentation.

    5. Stay well hydrated and eat a balanced diet to support skin repair and lymphatic drainage.

    6. Mild redness, swelling, or sensitivity is normal and should subside within a few hours to a couple of days.

    7. Contact the clinic if you experience any prolonged discomfort, blistering, or unusual skin reactions.
