  • Treatment Process (Step-by-Step)

    Initial Consultation – 15 to 20 minutes

    • We will assess skin laxity and treatment areas (face, neck, brow, or décolletage).

    • Medical history is reviewed to confirm suitability.

    • A personalized treatment plan is developed based on your skin type, age, and goals.

    Preparation – 10 to 15 minutes

    • The treatment area is cleansed thoroughly.

    • Photographs may be taken for before-and-after comparison.

    • Treatment grid marks are applied for accurate placement.

    • A topical or oral pain reliever may be offered, depending on your comfort level.

    Ultherapy Treatment – 30 to 90 minutes

    • Using real-time ultrasound imaging, the practitioner identifies the correct depth and targets precise tissue layers.

    • The Ultherapy handpiece delivers focused ultrasound energy at 1.5 mm, 3.0 mm, and/or 4.5 mm depths.

    • You may feel brief tingling or heat sensations during each pulse — this means the collagen-building process is being activated.

    • Duration depends on treatment area:

      • Brow: ~30 minutes

    Post-Treatment Finish – 5 to 10 minutes

  • Pre-Treatment Care

    To ensure a safe and effective Ultherapy experience, please follow these guidelines before your session:

    1. Avoid sunburn or irritated skin in the treatment area for at least 5–7 days prior.

    2. Do not use strong active skincare products (e.g., retinoids, glycolic acid, vitamin C) on the treatment area for 2–3 days before.

    3. Stay hydrated and eat a light meal before your appointment.

    4. Inform your provider if you have any metal implants, pacemakers, or are pregnant.

    5. Over-the-counter pain relief (e.g., paracetamol or ibuprofen) may be taken 30–60 minutes before the procedure if recommended by your practitioner.

    6. Shave facial hair if applicable, especially for men receiving lower face or jawline treatment.

    Post-Treatment Care

    After Ultherapy, there is typically no downtime, but some temporary effects may occur. Follow these aftercare tips:

    1. Mild redness, swelling, tenderness, or tingling is normal and usually resolves within a few hours to a few days.

    2. Avoid hot showers, saunas, or intense workouts for 24 hours post-treatment to minimize irritation.

    3. Do not apply harsh or active skincare products (e.g., exfoliants, retinol, acids) for 3–5 days.

    4. Use gentle, hydrating skincare products to soothe and support the skin’s recovery.

    5. Apply sunscreen (SPF 30+) daily, as treated skin can be more sensitive to UV exposure.

    6. No need to massage or manipulate the skin—let the collagen production process occur naturally.

    7. Results appear gradually over 2–6 months, so be patient and follow your provider’s recommended follow-up schedule.
